Mega888 White Screen — Why It Happens and How to Fix It
Mega888 opening to a blank white screen or not loading? The usual cause is telco DNS blocking, not a broken app. These four steps fix it in about two minutes.
What you see
The app is installed and the icon is there, but opening it leaves a blank white or black screen, or it loads forever.
Why it happens
This is almost always a network issue, not the app. Malaysian telcos — Maxis, Celcom, Digi, Unifi, Time — block certain domains at the DNS level. The app cannot reach the game server, so the screen stays empty.
How to fix it
- Install the 1.1.1.1: Faster Internet app from the Play Store or App Store. It is free and made by Cloudflare.
- Open it and tap Connect. This only changes your DNS — it is not a VPN and does not hide your location.
- Fully close Mega888 from your recent apps list (not just pressing Home).
- Reopen Mega888. The screen should now load normally.
If that did not work
If it is still white after switching DNS: swap from WiFi to mobile data (or the reverse) and try again — sometimes only one network is blocked. If both fail, your build is probably outdated; uninstall and reinstall v2.4.1 from this portal.
